I need these people doing black edits of anime characters to learn how to draw hair because I fucking hate those brushes they use for it. They often look like shit and always look out of place.

I don't understand using the afro one when it's such an incredibly easy thing to draw. The one that always looks the worse to me is a particular one for dreadlocks. It's very textured/detailed in a way that clashes with pretty much all anime. For the one person who I've seen use it frequently, it straight looks like they photo-shopped shit on their head because of how each one is tapered on each end.

I'm not against it in all art because I have seen some uses that look nice, and it's because they are drawing in a style that would actually work with what ever brush they're using.

These brushes are kind of funny to me. I understand wanting to make art easier for yourself, but after years on seeing post about how if "you're good at art you should be able to draw all features and hair styles" there are lots of black people that obviously can't and have to rely on these to subpar effect. Which is fine, just funneh lol.

I've been productive and happy in other aspects of life but this is the least I've drawn in YEARS. AHH!
