An album whose title translates to "Sky Swing", which I love <3. So nostalgic feeling. The yellow costume on a green field, I feel something from when I was younger, like playing outside my grandma's house or with my mom during spring.
I've seen photos of Moon Kana posted before but her music really is wonderful (at least what I've heard so far). The 1st and 3rd songs are my favorites. It reminds me a lot of the type of vkei I would listen to more a year or two ago. I needed to crack open my window to listen to this, it is not compatible with climate control, it sounds better with the slight humidity and breeze from outside.
In a recent
interview with Gloomth & The Cult of Melancholy, she says
"I make music and clothes out of the small remaining light within the darkness."
and I think that does come across in her lyrics (some of which I had to read machine translated). Even in the same translator you get different results if it's the whole text or a single line, it's interesting to see the different results.
"今と呼べなくても 今を諦めずに ありつづけていたいよ。
羽ばたいて 羽ばたいて どこに行くの??
飛びたって 飛びつづけて どこに居ればイイの???"The instrumentals and singing of the third song, "Tsuki No Tsubasa" sounds like a person holding out and saying what's in their heart as they be dragged away in the night under the moon after losing a battle. I know that's a lot but that's what appears in my head when I listen.
The whole album works well together so I suggest listening to all of it and it's pretty short anyways.
Here is the site where I got the Japanese lyrics and which host good HQ scans of the booklets that came with the CD's.
This part sounds like a ringtone to me.
